Rivers in Himachal

Satluj

One of the Indus Rivers in Himachal Pradesh in the lowlands of Kinnaur. The numerous water sports events held along the Satluj River, however, have to be its most intriguing feature.

Beas River

 The Himachal Pradesh Beas runs 256 kilometers. It's Himachal Pradesh's most famous river. White-water rafting and kayaking are Beas River favorites.

Ravi River

The Ravi river in Himachal begins in Multan tehsil of Kangra district at "Bada Bhangal" in the Dhauladhar mountains. Chamba Nagar borders the Ravi. If you want a river with water sports and beauty, visit the Ravi River.

Yamuna

The Tons, Chambal, Sindh, Betwa, and Ken rivers have tributaries. Himachal's famous Yamuna River.

Chandra

Lahaul's River Chandra is one of the two rivers that compose the Chenab. In the snow of Lahaul and Spiti, it rises. The magnificent Chandra Tal lake formed near its source.

Bhaga

Himachal Pradesh's Surya Taal Lake is the Bhaga River's source. The Bhaga river traverses 60 km (37 mi) through small canyons before joining at Tandi.

Chenab

Lahaul-Spiti's Chenab river is native. Chenab formed from Chandra and Bhaga rivers. Tourists love this river since it has rafting spots all along its length.

Pabbar

The Tons River flows into the Yamuna from the Pabbar River. The Pabbar River flows through the Chanshal Mountain Range, apple orchards, tall mountains, lush meadows, and oak and deodar forests.

Spiti

On the eastern slopes of the far-northern mountain ranges, Lahaul and Spiti form the Spiti River. Because this portion of the Himalayas is arid with little rainfall, the river gets all its water from melted glaciers. Most Spiti Valley settlements, including Tabo, Dhankar, Kaza, and Rangrik, are on the river.

Giri

Giri River feeds Yamuna. Himachal Pradesh relies on rivers for water. The Giri, or Giriganga, rises from Kupar mountain above Jubbal town after flowing across the Shimla hills.

Baspa

India's Himachal Pradesh Baspa Rivers. It joins the Sutlej. Kinnaur's Himalayan glaciers start it. Alpine Sangla Valley, also known as Baspa Valley, attracts tourists.
