Khajjiar is a hill station in Chamba district, in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Khajjiar Himachal Pradesh is often referred to as the “Mini Switzerland of India’.It is about 6,500 feet above sea level in the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of the Western Himalayas,, and snow-capped mountains can be seen in the distance. Khajjiar is a part of the Kalatop Khajjiar Sanctuary. It is located approximately 24 km from Dalhousie.

Khajjiar does not have an airport. The Gaggal airport in Dharamsala is the nearest airport at a distance of about 122 km. From here, taxis and buses are easily available from the airport to Khajjiar.

By Train

The Pathankot railway station is the nearest railway station at a distance of 118 km.  Trains from Delhi, Ahmedabad, Jammu, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, etc. are available till Pathankot. And from here, you will also easily get buses and taxis that will take you to Khajjiar.

By Road

Khajjiar is well connected by road to all the major places and other neighboring states. State-owned buses from Shimla, Delhi, Chamba, and Dalhousie ply regularly to Khajjiar.
