Tattapani is a small village near Shimla. It is 60 km away from Shimla and 29 km away from Naldehra. Tattapani is a quaint village and one of the most popular destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It is located beside the river Sutlej at an altitude of 2,230 ft. above sea level.

Tatapani name is derived from the locals, where “Tatta” means “hot” and “Pani” means water. Tattapani means hot water, which the area is famous for.
