Baga Sarahan is a beautiful green meadow located in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, inside a small village called Sarahan. The place looks like a peaceful village surrounded by snowy mountains and endless greenery.
Nearby, in Tikkar Tal village, there is a lovely temple right at the center. Baga Sarahan is about 170 km from Shimla and around 50 km from Nirmand. If you are coming from Rampur, it takes roughly two and a half hours by road, driving downhill.
The area is a mix of open grasslands and dense forests, giving it a very calm and natural feel. On one side, you will also see traditional Himachali houses made in the Kathkuni style, along with some apple orchards that add to the charm of the place.

Seraj is more of a geographical region comprising the Outer and Inner Seraj in Kullu District. Often separated by the passes of Jalori and Bashleu, even though they are related on both sides but with acute differences in socio-political situation.
The main road to Baga Sarahan goes straight into the meadow. Transport is available here, but not as frequent as in some other areas, since fewer buses run on this route.
