Mall Road is the main hangout point and epicenter of shopping in Shimla. Mall Road has a large number of department stores, showrooms, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Ridge is mostly known for its cultural activities related to Shimla. It is located along the Mall Road and has recently emerged as one of the most beautiful places in Shimla.

The church is one of the second-oldest churches in Northern India. It was built in 1857 in Neo-Gothic-style architecture, and it is one of the most beautiful churches in India.

Gaiety Theatre was opened on 30 May 1887, to a design by the English architect Henry Irwin. It is a historic building with a rich cultural and architectural heritage.

Shimla Town Hall is an ancient heritage structure Designed by Scottish architect James Ransone and built in 1908. The building, which is situated on The Mall Road, represents the graceful style of colonial architecture.

Scandal Point is located on the west side of The Ridge. The name arose from the commotion caused by the supposed elopement of a British lady with an Indian Maharaja.

One of the most popular places to visit in Shimla is called Lakkar Bazar.It is famous for it’s antique works, along with woollen garments, pashmina shawls, Himachali handicrafts, and artificial jewellery.

It was built in 1886 in French-Gothic-style architecture. Inside the church, tourists can catch sight of an old glass tapestry and a precious old statue of “Our Lady of Guadalupe,” which is a gift from Mexico.

 The Bantony Castle, a historical landmark located near Mall Road in Shimla. It is Built by former Governor-General of India, Lord William Bentinck.

The Kali Bari is dedicated to Goddess Kali, known as Shyamala. It has a special identity as it shows the beauty of Shimla.

The Viceregal Lodge in Shimla city is the most beautiful architectural building.  It is set in summer here which is a part of the estate of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study. It was built in 1888 and post-independent. It’s been called Rashtrapati Niwas and is the summer residence of the president of India. It made an important role in the India-Pakistan partition so this place has a lot of history.

Annandale is a famous attraction in Shimla. It is famous for it’s golf course, playground, and Army museum.

The Himachal State Museum is known for its cultural significance and is an ideal place to know about the history related to Shimla. The museum was established in 1974. It is located at the top of Inverarm Hill.

The temple was established in 1950 on the initiative of Baba Neeb Karori Ji Maharaj, a noted Hindu religious ma. It is situated at a distance of 5–6 km. The temple houses the goddesses of Lord Rama, Lord Shiva, and Hanuman.

Chadwick Falls is located in the Glen forests of the beautiful Shimla city. Chadwick Falls is one of the best waterfalls in Shimla. These streams of water trickle from a height of about 100–120 meters.

Tara Devi is a famous temple in Shimla. It is situated 1851 meters above sea level. It is dedicated to Maa Tara.

The Kalka-Shimla Railway was built by the British between 1898 and 1903 to provide access to their summer capital of Shimla. It takes you through the lush green mountains with the most scenic and mystic views.

It is located on the banks of the Pabbar River. It is about 102 km from Shimla city. Hatkoti is famous for its Hati temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Maa Durga, called Maa Hateshwari. This place is very beautiful and peaceful.
